Summer Adventures

I know, I know. I have been an incredible slacker in terms of blog posting. The truth is, my life is just not that interesting. But, for the sake of those of you who live vicariously through me, (just kidding) I will try to be more faithful towards my blog.

Since I don't really have to patience to type out all of my amazingly fantastic summer adventures, I'll just give a rundown of my exploits. If I miss anything . . . well, my bad.

1. Competed my solo Forever and Always twice, and received 'High Gold' at Nationals as well as 2 first place awards.
2. Went to Lagoon. Twice. Don't really want to get into that again.
3. Got 2 jobs at the PC outlets which took up the majority of my summer, unfortunately.
4. Went to Texas to meet my smiley E and the rest of that fam.
5. Got FRIED at the beach in Galveston. I think my back peeled about 3 times.
6. Got my luggage stolen, (which held a significant amount of my sentimental belongings) in Texas. In broad daylight. Not a vacay high, that's for sure.
7. Waved my arm off in a bajillion county parades for my last few duties to the 2009 Miss Summit County Royalty.
8. Gave my autograph on old t-shirts to a bajillion lucky people from all over the world.
9. Went to the Shakespearean Festival to see Pride and Prej. and Much Ado About Nothing.
10. Saw too many 3D movies. What's all the hype?
11. Played Mario with Jillio. We kicked trash.
12. Competed in Miss Summit County for the 2nd time. Didn't have as much luck. At least I got away with an awesomely gaudy picture frame for being 'Most Photogenic' which is ridiculous.
13. My best friend/sister Jamie got married in the Salt Lake Temple. I was the MOH.
14. Met (again) Elder Perry at said temple and didn't realize it.
15. Took a road trip up to North Dakota to visit Hay Bay and her husband.
16. Went to Minnesota for the first time for like, 10 minutes because Hay got us lost from trying to show us a giant Viking ship.
17. Made THE MOST legit shirt ever. Thank you, Hay, for that.
18. Saw Mount Rushmore for the first time and got some awesome earrings from the gift shop.

Yep. That was my awesome summer. Are you jealous? You should be.
Now I need to go pack . . .

  1. Um, it kindof sucks that I was only in like two events of your summer :P but hey, life is busy right?!?! Good luck with your classes and college life. I love and miss you. Don't ever forget that.
    Love,
    Jamie
