Day 5 Blog Challenge

Ha! So I'm finally picking up where I left off!!!
For this challenge, I'm supposed to post a picture(s) of somewhere I have been. I unfortunately, am a boring person and I haven't been anywhere remotely exciting. So I'll just post some pictures of the places I'm DYING to go!

Sorry all! Since moving into my new apartment, we were deprived of internet. Now, however, our dear friend Sam Lambson has graciously lent us one of his unused routers. So I will be catching up with all blog challenge posts and more! Yay! I will begin. . . tomorrow probably ;)

Day 4 Blog Challenge

A habit that you wish you didn't have.

I unfortunately have a terrible Facebook habit. I'm not an addict by any means; however, I do have a smart phone which enables me to access FB at anytime at the drop of a hat. Because of this, whenever I get bored somewhere, I just pop open my Facebook to see if there's anything new to look at. I saw a status on FB (ironically enough) about how it's like a fridge: When you're bored you keep opening and closing it every few minutes to see if there's anything good in it. I always use the excuse that it's to keep up with old friends and extended family members. What a justifiable waste of time. . .

I am so blessed to have several amazing friends in my life. Though this picture is just of two of my friends, I cannot ignore the incredible people that Heavenly Father has strategically placed in my life. These two have been with me for so long now that I can hardly consider them friends. They are my sisters. LOVE YOU GIRLIES!

Day 2 Blog Challenge

Day 2: The meaning behind your blog name.

Dance like no one is watching is not just a catchy quote. For me, it is a way of life. We all go through life putting on an act for others. We are constantly aware of people watching or judging us. Sometimes we are afraid to show people the real version of ourselves. Sometimes we're afraid to do something fantastic because we don't know what people would think.

My advice? Forget those people.

This quote has become my mantra. I refuse to not do something just because I am afraid. I may look like an idiot. I may epically fail. But, at least I can say that I tried.


P.S. 1.5 finals down, 4.5 finals to go.

30-Day Blog Challenge . . . oh goody!

Blast! I really didn't want to get into the whole 30-day challenge stuff because, honestly, I think it's a big waste of time. While I love reading this kind of stuff about other people, I can't really bring myself to do it. However, because I am on the eve of finals and I have no other excuse to procrastinate, I'm all for beginning my 30-day challenge!


Day 1: A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.


1. I am clumsy and extremely accident prone.
2. I reread Harry Potter every summer.
3. I LOVE donating blood. Guess I could never be a Jehovah's Witness.
4. My guitar's name is Felix and the only songs I can really play on him are depressing Taylor Swift songs.
5. I have the cutest nieces and nephews EVER.
6. My favorite name to be called is Wese.
7. I love doing ab workouts. Weird I know!
8. When I walk to school I have weird urges to play Slug Bug with random strangers.
9. Dr. Pepper is my cure-all.
10. I wish I could play sports better.
11. If I had a choice, I'd totally live in water.
12. I physically cannot give up dancing.
13. I want to travel the world.
