So, as I said, nothing interesting has happened to me lately as I've been a workaholic and imprisoned in school. I just got promoted to Sales Lead at the store, which basically means I'm like a level 1 manager. I got a little bump in pay and solid hours, so I was able to quit my custodial job, thankfully. But, I have literally been spending every free moment I have at the mall, training and prepping the store for the holiday season. Holiday shoppers are crazy.
This last Sunday, we had a MAJOR floorset, (this is where we have to go in and clear out all of our old product on the floor and put out all of our new product. It takes, literally the entire day.) I was working from 7am-5pm and it was death! Well, not really, but it was exhausting. We had a TON of product and nothing was really prepped, so finding clothes in the stock room was a nightmare. But, it was an adventure. I think I almost died about 8 times trying to find stuff back there.
Those are just some examples of what our back room looked like.
Anyway. Wish me luck. I'm going back to studying!
