Stephen came home!!!!
It was the longest week of my life this week. I knew that Stephen was going to return home from serving the Lord on Wednesday, but I also knew that I wouldn't see him until the weekend. Add a few shifts a work, a couple of papers, a midterm, and reciting the proclamation to a professor, and you've got yourself a stinking long week. Luckily, I was able to talk to him a few times on the phone. He was able to make it down on Friday to see me and a few of his other friends. I didn't see him again until Sunday when he gave his Homecoming talk, which was hilarious and amazing by the way, and then again on Monday when we went to Ogden to meet up with some friends and play games all day long.
Apart from seeing him on Friday . . . and Sunday . . . and again on Monday, I was able to hang out with Jamie, her husband Spencer, and Kelsie on Saturday. It was the bomb. We went out to eat at Cafe Rio and used free movie vouchers to see Never Say Never in 3D. Spencer has the Bieber Fever and practically threw a tantrum when we told him we didn't want to go. So he convinced us. It was actually a pretty amazing story. Due to a blizzard that almost trapped us in Park City, we were unable to hot tub that night.
I was a little bummed at the thought of my roommates going to Vegas without me. I love Vegas, (minus the sin) and I really need a vacation. But, I wouldn't have traded in that weekend for anything. I got one of my very best friends back AND I got to see the 2 most important girl friends in my life.
